( you're becoming useless. is what she wants to say but she lets her expression say that for her. anyway, she takes the baby and sets her down on the floor for her to crawl or whatever. maka takes out her cellphone, texts, then shows: )
( she eye rolls at her friend and turns her attention back at eden, who is trying to go upstairs because stairs look fun to accomplish. maka walks over to the baby to pick up. while trying to hold the baby, she tilts her head over at the baby bottle to black☆star in hope he can understand that she needs it to feed her. )
( and since she has a freaking baby in her arms, she doesn't catch this said bottle. maka dodges it and the bottle gets splat on the wall. there's milk all over the wall now. bottle's not broken so that's good. maka gives him a look as the baby makes a whimpering noise at the sudden crash sound. )
You're cleaning that up and you're buying milk, too.
( well all of that yelling did make the baby cry. good job. maka frowns at him and just turns her back on him. though, it does seem like eden needs a diaper change. good thing she read a lot of about babies to know how! so she pulls out some diapers and tosses it lightly at him. )
( clearly, she's not giving a shit what he's saying right now - as long as he caught it. and he did! so maka grabs a blanket from the stroller and walks over to the couch. maka sets the blanket down before setting the baby down. then she starts peeling off the diaper and woo... poop. not a lot of poop which is good. but poop anyway. )
Can you hand me the baby wipes too? Should be in the backpack on the stroller.
( eden just wiggles her legs and watches her mom. )
Y'know, it's a good thing I've read up on all of this. Otherwise, I think it'll be a lot of trouble. But... -- ( a sigh. ) I'm still not... entirely sure how to really take care of it. Emma's been helping me every now and then. Do you know anyone that has experience with kids though?
( since he didn't text her or made any effort into saying anything - she'll just take that as a no. maka thanks him for the baby wipes and continues on with the diaper change. )
Uuugh, I should had known the Landlord would pull something like this for the holidays. But I just assumed it would be like last year. With the whole... kissing stuff.
